ladies and gents, just because someone has standards when it comes to roleplay does not make them an elitist. we ALL have specific standards that need to be met, and just because you don’t happen to meet those of a roleplayer, it doesn’t make them a bitch or a douche or an asshole. rejection is never nice, i know, but i’m going to be very blunt and say— suck it up. it happens, you get over it and you move on. there are plenty of roleplayers playing a popular character that you can check out, one of them will follow and roleplay with you because not all standards are the same. 

if they are reasonable, you shouldn’t attack someone for saying no. some people like their grammar, some people like nice themes, some people like organization, rule pages, about pages, things that let them know what sort of character it is you’re playing and how it is you’re playing them. there are people that look for these things and while they might not seem reasonable to YOU— who are you to say what is reasonable for them and what is complete elitism? 

just because someone doesn’t want to roleplay with you doesn’t make them an elitist. thinking that they’re better than everyone and everything and are at the top of the “food chain” ect. ect. makes them an arrogant butt. 

but if someone politely declined your request to roleplay because they didn’t find something which interested them about your blog, that’s it. roleplay is for f u n. and the people behind these blogs do things according to their standards and their preferences. there is no such thing as ridiculous rules or ridiculous standards. if you don’t agree, that’s kind of your problem and not theirs. 

but don’t take it personal and go on the defensive, because no one has time for those problems.
